The Nuremberg Code emerged in the wake of the Second World War in response to the horrific medical practices that were carried out on prisoners in concentration camps throughout the Third Reich. The Nuremberg Code is a set of 10 ethical research principles for human experimentation. These guidelines were established by the U.S. v Brandt case at Nuremberg, where the first international war crimes tribunal in history was held after World War II. His insights are instructive with the Navy and others currently experiencing the worst recruiting crisis. While there are state and federal laws to protect children violations continue often resulting in injuries or worse to the child worker. Minors are still being employed, exploited and injured working in areas of businesses that are highly dangerous. We tend to think that child labor violations ocurr when teenagers are allowed to work longer hours than the law allows. There are troubling and deeper concerns as minor children who the laws are in place to protect, are worked in dangerous jobs Let's Talk About It.

Patrick Moore, one of the founders of Greenpeace, said in an email obtained by The Epoch Times that his reasons for leaving Greenpeace were very clear:
“Greenpeace was ‘hijacked’ by the political left when they realized there was money and power in the environmental movement. [Left-leaning] political activists in North America and Europe changed Greenpeace from a science-based organization to a political fundraising organization,” Moore said.
“The ‘environmental’ movement has become more of a political movement than an environmental movement,” he said. “They are primarily focused on creating narratives, stories, that are designed to instill fear and guilt into the public so the public will send them money.”
