Songwriter and Recording Artist, JAMES HOUSE co-wrote Grammy Nominated Country Song of the Year “Ain’t That Lonely Yet” (recorded by Dwight Yoakam) and CMA Nominated Song of the Year “A Broken Wing” (recorded by Martina McBride) along with another smash hit "In A Week Or Two” (recorded by Diamond Rio).
Other artists to record his songs include Tina Turner, Olivia Newton John, Rod Stewart, The Mavericks and Sara Evans - to name just several. Born & raised in Sacramento, California, James pursued music in L.A. before making the move to Nashville in the late 1980s. Not long after the move, he was signed to MCA Records, where he began a string of chart hits like “Don’t Quit Me Now” and “Hard Times For An Honest Man.”
A switch to Epic Nashville produced the critically-acclaimed Days Gone By album and yielded the top 5 hit “This Is Me Missing You,” and top 20 singles “Real Good Way To Wind Up Lonesome” and “Little By Little.” His latest album is entitled Songwriters Serenade. It features 10 songs co-written with James by some of the most successful songwriters in country music. One of the most talked about tracks has James singing the duet Over Getting Over You with newcomer Natalie Noone (daughter of famed founder/member of the Herman's Hermits, Peter Noone).

We welcome Brian J Hull to our show today. Brian is the founder and principal writer of the band Meadowlark Jivin. The band has a sound that is described as a melting pot cooked up with a healthy helping of old school Nawlins funk, a dash of Steely Dan, a splash of roots reggae, a cup of hip-hop and a few tablespoons of Memphis soul. After releasing three studio albums with Meadowlark Jivin, Brian is now preparing to release his debut solo album, "Into The Blue". He has launched a kicktarter campaign,https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1862876889/into-the-blue-0 for project funding.
March To May’s Darren Guyaz (guitar, vocals, keyboard) and Beth Wesche (Celtic harp, vocals)first met in December 2012. By March 2013, the folk/indie/Americana duo had co-written theirfirst two songs, by April they had a paid gig under their belts, and by May they had a name andshows booked out into the months ahead. The daughter of a US Foreign Service Officer, Beth also spent time in theAndes, as well as a host of US states on both coasts, before moving to Seattle, just blocks fromwhere her beloved Celtic harp had been created, years before. The duo has drawn comparisons toacts like The Civil Wars, Damien Rice, the Swell Season, The Banner Days, and Robert Plant andAlison Krauss. Tonight Pop Art PAinter Jamie Roxx (www.JamieRoxx.us) welcome Leslie Sanders, Lead Vocalist of the awesome Rock/Glam/Punk band the Prophets of Addiction to the show.
www.poarocks.com Every once in a great – and blessed – while, a band comes along that encapsulates everything that’s great about rock-n-roll. The Prophets of Addiction is that band. These guys are so authentic and such masters at what they do that it’s like some mad scientist extracted the pure essence from their genre – Mötley Crüe, Guns N’ Roses, The Ramones, Hanoi Rocks, LA Guns, Lords of the New Church and all the best glam/punk bands – and gave rise to The Prophets of Addiction. With songs that will play in your head long after the CD stops and looks that kill, The Prophets of Addiction are the total package. It’s been way too long for a band like POA to come to us lovers of metal, mascara and musical mayhem. Their debut album “Babylon Boulevard” brings back those freewheeling, whiskey soaked, halcyon days (nights, really) when the Sunset Strip hosted countless punk/metal mash-up bands looking to hit the big time – and, of course, all the girls, girls, girls they could get.

He later began his music production career in 2004, becoming fluent in guitar, bass, drums, and piano.
