  • Living the Lifestyle of Love (your love checklist) Part 4

    in Religion

    Jesus Christ is the Food everyone needs for the Journey:
    we must maintain a spirit of meekness- When Paul mentions meekness he is speaking of the ability to endure injury without resentment and with patience. To be injured means to be hurt or hit by an arrow. Arrows of injury come to wound people in places where they have never been healed. The church has many casualties of war because the spirit of pride takes a small wound and makes it deeper. The magnification of the enemy can make a small cut appear to be a deadly wound. The spirit of meekness magnifies God? Even when fiery darts are shot at our heart, the spirit of meekness shines forth and our shield of faith blinds our enemies. Meekness blinds the devil? He can see his way through pride and arrogance but humility and lowliness shuts his third eye. Jesus exemplified perfect humility by enduring the cross. To have access to all power yet he humbled himself to a crucifixion baffled the mind of the devil and his camp.

  • Special episode: The Blessing of the Billy Blankets

    in Health

    Greetings
    I am Dorcas Moore CEO of “A Caring Consultants”. This year we have a new campaign for our homeless, wounded and sheltered families. It is called the “Billy Blankets”. I was inspired by God to reach the unreachable and to teach the unteachable. One day while out feeding the community, I spoke with some men that were living under a bridge. I addressed them all as “Billy”. I wanted them to know that I was not there to “Judge” but to “Love” ergo my “Billy Blankets” campaign. Day to day I encounter people from all walks of life. My heart is over whelmed with the homeless, hurting, abused and the rejected people of today. This year I want to expand my spiritual territory by connecting and bringing a sense of love and compassion to others.  I am asking you, as a leader to partner with me on October 1, 2014 at 7am for the “Blessing of the Billy Blankets”. These blankets will be given out during the winter months. My goal is to have a special prayer from every “STATE”. Here is just a few of the stories and reasonsthat I hear from the HOMELESS;
    Lost jobs, divorces, abuse, mental pressures of life, drugs, deaths of loved ones, financial mistakes, molestation, mental issues, post traumatic syndrome, mental breakdowns, ex-cons who are rejected by society, etc.
    You can send a video or picture to acaringconsults@yahoo.com. I ask that the prayer be no longer than “60 seconds”. This will be posted to our website, facebook and played on our Talk Show. I thank you in advance for your love and support!
