Hello Everyone! You may be wondering who I am, and what Live Out Loud is. Well, Live Out Loud is my baby; it's my business, and it was born from my experience with eating disorders and recovery. My name is Jessica and I struggled with Anorexia and Bulimia for about twelve years. All too often in my own struggle I would see people get better and relapse, or just dissapear from the eating disorder community all together. It was few and far between that I saw and experienced recovery from my point of view. Authentic recovery seeemed to be something that was merely written about in books. During this time, I vowed that should I ever recover (really, really recover) I would do something to "give back," and to let others know they too could recover and that recovery was both real and attainable, no matter what the situation. I struggled with a variety of other self destructive coping mechanisms along the way. It was a long, hard road through recovery but I have been recovered for several years now and Live Out Loud is my truth. One in which I share with you. Live out Loud not only has a show here on blog talk radio, but can be found at: www.live-out-loud.org Here you can find a plethora of resources, as well as other places on the web you can find Live Out Loud (including social networking sites, my products, my book, etc.) Best wishes to all of you and thanks for listening! Peace in Recovery, ~Jessica~
