The art of sampling and the how many Hip Hop original samples sites are violating the code of the art form itself, as well as speak on Hip Hop blogs and their often nonsense in harsh reviews for what seems to be the sake of getting viewers to come to their blogs. So I’m going to pull back on the Remix shows for a minute. One reason being remixes aren’t as popular as they once were and the the unsigned guys doing remixes really suck. I heard a ‘Kick In The Door” remix to some down South beat a dude made and the song was the worst, the only ones feeling it was ATL dudes. So unless I’m just going to play a gang of Pete Rock joints and a hand full of other producers every month, I need to stop for awhile. The idea was good but the lack of other remixes as of 2007 makes all the joints I would be playing old. Besides I need to get a gang of new tracks on the show anyway.
