Literary Pizzazz welcomes Author Melissa Ewell Miller

I'm Melissa and I’ve been writing poetry since I was a little girl – starting with roses are red, violets are blue. I come from a family of storytellers and that creative side of me has transferred into every area of my life. I've been writing most of my adult life in a professional role. I've been a policy writer, technical writer and technical trainer for several government and non-profit organizations. I write inspirational sayings and I my first fiction novel Trinity's Hope is being released this month (May). This first novel has grown into a series of six novels and the second, Destiny's Journey is due out in December 2010. I'm so excited... Yet with all this writing poetry has been one of those things that’s always been a part of my life. I published Love Notes as a compilation of poems I had with the common theme of love. On the personal side, I'm married to a real sweetie, Nick, for 22 years and we have five kids ages 20 - 12. Yep...my house is real busy! I'm originally from Los Angeles, graduated from Southern University in Baton Rouge and I did graduate work at Univ. of Phoenix in Los Angeles. At present I write full-time from home and I'm looking for ways to enlarge my territory through other writing, speaking and ministry projects I have in the works. I attend Heart of the Father Christian Center in Decatur, GA.
