Literally Spoken is a show that is all about WORDS written and spoken to entertain and challenge. It is a celebration of short fiction and storytelling reminiscent of Zora Neale Hurston, it is creating short fiction by stringing together poetry/spoken word, it is the presentation of fiction in dramatic presentations. Literally Spoken is WORDS in movement.
Original Air Date: 9/20/2008 4:00 PM UTC
Date / Time: 9/20/2008 1:51 AM UTC
The concept that pulsates through LITERALLY SPOKEN is that good short fiction is definitely based on the absurdities of reality. So each show ONE THEME IS ON THE MENU and what your work represents about that menu item is WHAT IS SERVED UP. So here are the show themes for upcoming shows. Check the blog often for updates. October 4 - Footsteps in The Dark - Romantic Mystery
October 18 - Blues For Mama - Heartbroken Women
November 1 - The First Lady - Scandalous Preacher's wives
Literally Spoken takes per show themes and invites authors of short fiction and fiction writers with appropriate excerpts or works in progress - to contribute pieces. Pieces submitted should be accompanied by a brief letter stating exclusive and definitive ownership of the piece by the person submitting and presenting. Works should not contain explicit language (random cursing with no specific purpose or erotically vulgar).Work should be emailed to: literallyspoken@enduringglorymedia.com. In the subject line, list: TITLE/SHOW THEME i.e. When The Praises Go Up/The First Lady. Work will be chosen for creativity, artistic flair, ability to grab attention and other criteria. Show producers will make first round choices, with final selection left to the show host. Authors chosen for on air presentation will have a minimum of three and a maximum of seven minutes to read their work on air. Interview sessions and possible listener interaction will then follow. are also part of the show concept. For additional information, email: literallyspoken@enduringglorymedia.com.

Moreen grew up in Plainfield, NJ, a small suburban town in central Jersey. An avid reader since childhood, she penned her first romance novel at the age of fourteen.
Divorced and single in the late 90’s, Moreen’s experiences upon reentering the dating world inspired her first novel, In Search of Good Men (Xlibris, Oct. 2001). By spring of 2004 Moreen had completed her second novel, If Only In My Dreams, ( July 2005, Imprint Books) a romantic and sensual story of Internet love gone wrong. Her readers were irresistibly drawn to two supplemental characters in this book; Trevor and Damian. These two hot and sexy studs are brought to life in her novel entitled QUENCH MY THIRST (Kensington, Aphrodisia, May 2007). Filled with steamy sensuality, unforgettable characters, and intrigue this is a story you won't want to miss.
Be sure to check out Moreen’s newest hot and sizzling ovel, PROMISCUOUS. (Kensington, Aphrodisia, May 2008).
She resides in Florida with her husband and is working on her 5th novel. Check her out as host of LITERALLY SPOKEN, each first and third Saturday, 12pm (EST). For more information on her work, visit the website

Enduring Glory Media, a South Florida based company producing global entertainment products for radio, TV, film and stage is proud to introduce its newest addition to the BlogTalk Radio lineup. Literally Spoken will officially launch Saturday, October 4, 2008, 12pm (EST); but will host an introductory show Saturday, September 20th. The introductory show will allow listeners the opportunity to meet Literally Spoken host R. Moreen Clarke. Clarke will bring her love for literature and her experience as a writer to the show. Literally Spoken takes per show themes and invites author of short fiction and fiction writers with appropriate excerpts or works in progress - to contribute pieces. An example of that may be a Novemember show celebrating FRONT PORCHES in Pan African communities. Authors would be invited to submit related stories around the theme and defined parameters. Clarke and show producers will select about 4 to 5 selections from stories submitted, to be featured on air. In some cases, Literally Spoken will seek poetry (spoken word) submissions related to the chosen theme and weave the pieces together in a manner that resembles many voices telling one story. Again, Clake and producers will select from submissions. Authors chosen for on air presentation will have about five to seven minutes to read their work on air. Interview sessions and possible listener interaction are also part of the show concept. For additional information, email: literallyspoken@enduringglorymedia.com.
