Call in to speak with the host
Former NFL wide receiver Willie Gault, who helped lead the Chigaco Bears to victory in Super Bowl XX, may no longer grace the gridiron, but he’s still a force to be reckoned with on the homefront. “I love doing landscaping. I grew up doing stuff like that. My father could do just about anything. He could build houses, do the plumbing; he did mechanic work,” he tells host Tanya Memme. “Watching him taught me a lot. And now I’m able to handle myself around the house. I can do all the small stuff you usually have to call a handyman for. Well, I’m the handyman. And my wife always looks at me and says, ‘You can’t do that.’ And I think, Hmmm, I’m gonna show you. And the next thing you know, it’s done. Then I go, ‘OK, see that?’ But she never reponds!”
It's good to talk.
