At ripe young age of 25, Tenisha Percell founded her own entertainment marketing firm. Now just 30 - and earning well into six figures annually - she manages college tours for entertainers like Grammy-winning diva Chrisette Michele. "I started interning at Def Jam Records when I was 15 years old," she tells to HBCU Digest host Garrett Carter as a panelist on his Branding & Building a Black Business special. "I already had my mind set on being part of hip-hop culture. No matter what, I was going to be an active participant. After graduating from Hampton University, Def Jam gave me my first job, as head of college marketing and promotion. I always knew this is what I was going to do."
