Carolyn Mycue was born in Massachusetts in December 1968, and at the age of thirty-four she received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. At the age of thirty-nine, in a flash of insight Carolyn became profoundly aware of her eternal essence. Carolyn’s awakening from a shy wife and mother revealed a bold facilitator of inner transformation. Through an intense journey of self-discovery, she found transcendent opportunities woven into her conventional lifestyle. Carolyn now devotes each day to understanding; integrating and deepening that transformation, as well as embracing all the subtle ways, she can serve the needs of Life while still being available to serve the needs of her family. Without any tradition or religion to guide Carolyn, She found her own way to integrate this experience of Truth into her everyday contemporary lifestyle. Driven by a force beyond her own, Carolyn feels compelled to learn and share this organically arising wisdom with others. Carolyn’s purpose is to inspire others to utilize their everyday life as a vehicle for liberating life’s purpose. In Carolyn’s workshop, she leads a hands-on presentation, in addition to active meditation on how to "unfold purpose while folding laundry". Carolyn explained how to consciously use the concepts of presence, acceptance, gratitude, and surrender in order to liberate the joy contained in the routine tasks in our everyday lives. Responsibilities such as laundry, dishes, and other autonomous activities offer unparalleled opportunities to unfold the deeper purpose of our lives. Serving life in this way cultivates the inner space necessary to awaken to life’s purpose, leading us to experience authentic and lasting fulfillment, and enabling us to actively participate in creating a more compassionate world. Carolyn’s website: carolynmycue.com has a "meditations" page that gives more details about these active meditation suggestions. Carolyn also writes & post an original poem each week.
