...of the darkness of Denial into the Light of Acceptance and Recovery. Recovery is NO ACCIDENT - it is a Commitment to wanting more out of life and being willing to do whatever it may take to get it.

Tonight's Show was the second discussion of sorts addressing the matter of interventions. Do they really Help the person with the Addiction? Does it Help Anyone? As we often say - there are NO RIGHT ANSWERS only Stories and examples of what worked for us and others. What you choose to implement into your life/lives is strictly your business.RECOVERY FROM ADDICTIONS IS A CHOICE.

Interventions are designed to provide those who love/care/like those with Addictions, an opportunity to express their own personal feeling & sentiments to the one Addicted without being agressive towards them, providing the Speaker a chance to express their innermost feelings without the usual Personality Bashing that oftentimes accompany uncontrolled/unprepared situations.

Next week Sunday we will discuss the final preparations from our planned INTERVENTION - with the hopes that we will leave our FEARS and ANY SORT OF AGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR OUTSIDE THE DOORS.

Neither "I" or my colleagues hold any sort of Professional Licensing in this field. We are NOT Doctors,Psychologists, Psychiatrists,Counselors, or Therapists, - HOWEVER We ARE IN RECOVERY OURSELVES - Some longer than others. We ALL Fought to get & to Stay Sober. We KNOW & UNDERSTAND THIS MATTER IN A UNIQUELY PERSONAL MANNER. By Sharing our Personal "EXPERIENCE - STRENGTH & HOPE" we feel we can not only relate to-but better assist, those individuals suffering from an ACTIVE ADDICTION.

Our Show airs Sundays 7 to 9PM CST. Check us out at www.road2recovery.club or call-in the night of the show 323-580-5755. PLEASE JOIN US!
