Our next guests share the joy of reading to children around the world and give children with Down Syndrome a place of their own to learn, play and be themselves.

Marie and her guest co-host Tim Padgett will interview Seena Jacob, founder of Bookwallah, a Chicago-based nonprofit. Its mission is to collect and distribute children's story books, set up libraries, and spread the joy of reading to children of orphanages and children's homes throughout the world.

We will also have representatives from Gigi's Playhouse in Hoffman Estates. The nonprofit, whose mission is to increase awareness of Down Syndrome, recently created Gigi U. This is a capital campaign benefiting children and adults with Down Syndrome.
