LLN Reports on Kayhan Hellriegel, Global Woman of Business. Kayhan is the Founder and CEO of Kayhan International, Limited.  Kayhan is a self-made business woman who started Kayhan International in 1982. Through her dynamic leadership and perseverance, Kayhan International has grown to be a leader in the furniture industry.   It is one of the top Haworth office furniture dealers in the world.

 

Kayhan is a native of Iran who immigrated to United States after earning a BS degree in Business.  In 2007, In partnership with the US State Department, Women Impacting Public Policies (WIPP), US Afghan Women’s Council and Northwood University, 12 Afghan women business owners were invited to visit the United States to engage in a high level business training and mentoring. 2007.  Kayhan was honored by being asked to host and mentor 3 of the Afghan business women for one week. Kayhan attended the special ceremony at the White House to honor these Afghan women.  

 

Kayhan is a proud wife, mother & grandmother of two.
