Scriptures tells us that the righteous are bold as a lion-Proverbs 28:1. We are also told of the great Apostle Paul's boldness and courage he displayed on many occasions while preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul asked for the body of Christ to pray for him to have boldness to preach the Gospel effectively. We all know that in order for us to anything, we need the strenght and power of God to sustain us. God is the One who endows believers with the power to preach the Gospel, stand up to powers of the enemy, and accomplish great missions in life. We need the boldness of God in our lives in order to pursue our destiny and complete our purpose. The difference in being bold in self will verses being bold in God, is having the righteousness of God that compliments our boldness. Being righteous will help us to balance out our boldness with wisdom, love, and knowing when and how to approach a situation with the authority and power of God in boldness. There are situations that demands boldness. Let's look at scriptures to find out how God gave boldness to the patriachs and Apostles to accomplish great things for Him, and why is boldness neccessary in our lives today.
