I know I am not hearing you in "real time," but I do have a question. How do you see a difference today in how people accept President Obama? Although he is accepted by many, there are still some who will never recognize him as their leader.

Is there any way for me to hear the "live" show instead of what I've already heard?

    Kathleen Sawyer

‘The day his uncle died was the absolute worst day of Eric’s life; it was the same day Sad arrived. Sad makes Eric so tired, keeps him from his friends, and makes his whole body feel lumpy. When Eric’s counselor gives him permission to be mad at God, Eric also learns about God’s unconditional love for him and how to get rid of Sad.’ Do you, like Eric, desire to live beyond the sadness? Do you have a child who is consumed by grief? This show will give you tools to use to help yourself and your loved ones to move beyond SAD and back into life. Inspired by a former client and his grief over losing an uncle to suicide, Sawyer’s book, The Day SAD Arrived” acknowledges the tremendous grief children endure following the death of a loved one and encourages them to bring their emotions—both fears and anger—to God. “I want to give people permission to feel their feelings. Our emotions are a gift to teach us and help us learn. They are a friend not a foe. They are God given.” Kathleen Sawyer grew up in Phoenix, Arizona before moving to San Diego, California at the age of 15 to live with her sister. During her junior year in high school, she became pregnant with her son Eric and dropped out of high school. This difficult and life-changing event later inspired Kathleen towards teen counseling and working with troubled youths. Today, Kathleen is a self-employed counselor and co-owner of a Christian counseling center. She speaks regularly at conventions and retreats. Kathleen and her husband, Tom, live in Brush Prairie, Washington and have two grown sons.
