On Sunday, March 15, 2009, lifestyle30 launched it's new talk radio show on blog talk radio. The show, lifestyle30 presents....., will feature segments on Politics, Events, & Women In Business; Media, Music, & Pop Culture; Hip Hop & Sports; and Art, Culture, & Cuisine. The March 15 show, we debuted our Art, Culture, & Cuisine segment featuring Cleveland author Alesica Smith, whose book, Exhale: Wordz From Tha Soul, features poems of empowerment for women; Food Contributor, Angela Jackson-Powell, and HR Professional by day, and a "Slap Your Mama" cook by night, who offered listeners a practical list of kitchen necessities to enable even the novice cook, the ingredients to whip up a meal at the last minute; and Cultural Critic, Tanesha Leathers, an PhD student in American Studies, who helped us reflect on and celebrate the 20th Anniversary of reknowned director Spike Lee's, classic Do The Right Thing.
