April Espie Reese is a Domestic Violence survivor that resides in Baltimore, Maryland. She is a mother to two and is currently employed with the federal government.  She is the owner of an event planning company, Something to Talk About located in Baltimore, MD and she is the CEO of My Sisters Choices a support and information resource for women of domestic violence.

April is very passionate about helping other women that are currently in abusive relationships.  She knows first hand what is like to be in a violent relationship not knowing if today is going to be a good day or bad day. After surviving eleven years of abuse at the hands of her ex-husband, she decided to become a voice in the community of women to let them know that there is hope.  Her motto is, “ Your faith must be stronger than your fear.”

While My Sisters Choices is still developing its resource avenues and working on their websites to get the resources that women may or may not know about out to the public via social media they may be reached via email at mysisterschoices@yahoo.com.   My Sisters Choices is available to the public for speaking engagements to offer hope and support to those that need assistance.
