Some people say that what you don’t know won’t hurt you. In fact, when it comes to toxins in the body, what you don’t know can make you sick or kill you. Radon gas, drinking water contaminated with lead, car exhaust, and chemicals seeping into the water supply from landfills are a few examples of toxic substances that will hurt you. Surprisingly, people also consume toxins in a variety of foods if they’re not paying attention.
