Life, Love & Everything In Between  

For those of you who have listened to the teaching, "The Need for Speaking in Tongues," by Prophet Daniel Byrd (or you plan to listen) but you were raised to believe that speaking in tongues was not scriptural or of God, rest assured it is.  In fact speaking in tongues is one of the gifts of the spirit. (*1 Corinthians 12:1-11) - NOTE:  1 Corinthians 12:10 (praying in the Spirit is the same as praying/speaking in tongues).

Jesus promised us the Holy Spirit, John 14:15-17, "If you love me, you will obey what I command.  And I willa sk the father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever - the Spirit of Truth.  The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him.  But you know Him, for lives with you and will be in you."

Many people try to pick and choose which scriptures they will follow.  However, God is the same yesterday, today and forever and His Word changes not.  If you do not have the gift of praying in the Spirit, then ask Him according to Luke 11:13 and at His appointed season He will bestow upon you this wonderful gift.  So, don't give up praying for this gift, as it is life-changing.
