Danny & Wanda Pelfrey are a husband/wife writing team who individually produced several non-fiction books before combining their talents to start turning out “mysteries with a message.” Their first fiction project is a series of books centered around Davis Morgan, a former pastor turned bookseller/police chaplain set in the small North Georgia town of Adairsville.

Danny is a graduate of Point University and holds a Master of Ministry from Kentucky Christian University. Most of his adult life has been spent as a pastor. His ministries have been in his home state of Georgia, Virginia, Indiana and Ohio. Mr. Pelfrey, influenced by his wife’s love of the craft, started his writing career doing articles for various periodicals. His first book was ONE-WAY CHOICES IN A WRONG-WAY WORLD published by Accent Books. Later works include a history of his hometown entitled LIFE IN ADAIRSVILLE. OUT OF THE DEPTHS was the first Davis Morgan mystery. AS A SHIELD, the second in the series, will be released April 21, 2017,

Wanda is also a graduate of Point University. She was a primary teacher in a Montessori school for twenty-four years. Even before graduating from college Wanda knew she wanted to write. That opportunity came early as she received assignments from Standard Publishing, David C. Cook, Christian Education Publishers, and others. Her best-known book was the Moody Press release, MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR CHILD’S TEACHABLE MOMENTS which went through several printings and was distributed by James Dobson and Focus on the Family. Several of her craft books for children have been in print for years.

Danny and Wanda are the parents of two daughters, one a teacher and the other an attorney. They have four granddaughters and one grandson.
