Meet one of America's special military heroes, Daniel Posey.

Current: Fort Bragg, NC (Fayetteville, NC) Raised: Orange TX, Buna, TX           

"Staff Sgt. Daniel Posey joined the Army in 200as an infantryman, and attended One Station Unit Training at Ft. Benning Georgia.Upon completion, he attended Airborne School and the Special Forces Qualification Course (SFQC). Following graduation in 2011, Posey was assigned to 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne), Company C, 2nd Battalion.Posey had multiple deployments to Afghanistan, a deployment to Iraq, and Kazakhstan.His military education includes Airborne School, Special Forces Sniper School, Jump Master, Special Forces Advanced Recon, Target Analysis, and Exploitation Techniques.EACH YEAR, THE U-S ARMY ALL-AMERICAN BOWL HONORS SOME OF THE TOP HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PLAYERS AND BAND MEMBERS IN THE COUNTRY.THE GAME IS THE NATION’S PREMIER HIGH SCHOOL ALL-STAR GAME.

IT’S COMPRISED OF PLAYERS AND MUSICIANS WHO MIRROR THE LEADERSHIP ABILITIES OF THE U-S ARMY, AND IS UNIQUE FOR THE WAY IT PAIRS TOGETHER THESE TEENAGERS WITH U-S ARMY MENTORS.WHAT ARE SOME THINGS THAT MAKE THE U-S ARMY ALL-AMERICAN BOWL SPECIAL WHO ARE SOME OF THE PLAYERS OR MENTORS WHO WILL BE PARTICIPATING IN THE GAME? HOW ARE THE U-S ARMY MENTORS CHOSEN? WHAT ARE SOME OF THE ACTIVITIES DURING BOWL WEEK FOR YOU AND THE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS?THE U.S. ARMY IS PERHAPS ONE OF THE WORLD’S BEST TEAMS. WHY IS THE ARMY SUCH A POWERFUL TEAM FOR THE NATION? THEY SAY THAT IT’S THE AMERICAN SOLDIER THAT MAKES THE U.S. ARMY TEAM SO EFFECTIVE. WHY DID YOU THINK ARMY SOLDIERS ARE SO RESPECTED AND WHY DID YOU JOIN THE ARMY TEAM?WHERE CAN WE TUNE IN TO SEE THE GAME?The U.S. Army All-American Bowl will be played on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, and will be broadcast live nationally on NBC at 1 p.m.
