The Mission Is Remission:

Pat Williams' book is filled with encouragement, insight and realistic hope.  If you are battling cancer, or know someone who is, this book is a must-read.

Pat Williams’ world changed in January, 2011 when his doctor completed his physical with the words, “There’s something in your blood work we’re not sure about.” Pat was diagnosed with a rare and incurable blood cancer, multiple myeloma.

As one of the millions of people to have experienced cancer, Pat first asked “Why me?” After calling on his faith, his family and his fighting spirit, Pat asked, “Why not me?” Williams’ mantra became "The mission is remission." After rounds of chemotherapy and a stem cell treatment, he succeeded in the fight of his life: the myeloma can no longer be detected in his body.

In THE MISSION IS REMISSION, Williams shares his story and the six essential healing factors that helped him win his battle.

Basketball hall-of-famer Pat Williams is the founder and senior vice president of the NBA’s Orlando Magic.

Williams is the author of over 85 books. He and his wife, Ruth, are the parents of 19 children, including 14 adopted from four nations.
