Linda Turner is a licensed art therapist and visual arts painter with over 13 years experience working with individuals and groups which include adults, adolescents and children. She has worked at the Chinatown YMCA in NYC as a staff art therapist and 3 years as an artist-in-resident working with cancer patients at NY Presbyterian Hospital. She was also on the board of the NY Coalition for Creative Arts Therapists for 7 years. She holds a Masters Degree in Art Therapy from Pratt Institute and a BA of Fine Arts in Textile/Product Design from the FIT.
In addition, she has created and run arts based family workshops and staff development trainings, which include topics of conflict resolution, behavior management, collaboration and healthy communication. She has developed and facilitated singles/community events using art and creative play as a natural and easy way for individuals to connect and currently co-facilitate workshops for single women looking to have breakthroughs in barriers to relationship as well as build healthy self-esteem
