Kent Robertshaw, a graduate of Cornell Medical School, currently teaches pharmacology classes at Columbia Medical School about substance abuse. Having appeared on numerous television shows including CNN, he is a world-renowned expert in addiction. While director of Psychiatric Services at the Smithers Alcohol Treatment Center,  Dr. Robertshaw was the featured guest on the Oprah Winfrey show. Quoted in numerous magazine and newspaper articles, he has been featured over 20 times on the radio show “The Positive Mind.” Kent Robertshaw has an eclectic approach to psychiatry with expertise in various forms of therapy as well as psychopharmacology. He also believes in a “Whole Body approach” to treating individuals with the sensitivity to Mind Body connection (Meditation, Exercise, Nutrition…) and has a warm, humanistic, caring approach to his patients.
