The Revolutionary Sistas of the Diaspora are Black and Brown Sistas coming together to discuss topical issues of race, social & economic justice, gender equality and everything in between. 

This month we discuss health disparities among Black and Brown women, the unique challenges and risks for women of color and what we can do about it. Join an informative conversation with two women who are creating change and advocating for women’s health.

Sateria Venable is founder of the Fibroid Foundation. Sateria is a patient advocate who was diagnosed with fibroids at the age of 26. After receiving the recommendation of a hysterectomy in her 20s, she sought out other options, and formed the Foundation, which is creating the space for holistic and innovative approaches.
