TZM Global Ep. 169 with Peter Joseph, April 1st 2015 Featured Zday talks:
1) Lee Camp
2) Jim Phillips
James Phillips, United Kingdom James Phillips is the co-coordinator of TZM Education: A global initiative to enable TZM members to go into educational institutions and deliver the movement’s train of thought to the next generation. He is a regular host of the movement’s global radio show and a regular speaker at several events in the UK pertaining to sustainability and societal structure for both TZM and 3rd party organizations. He also helps to co-ordinate the London chapter of the movement in the UK and goes into Schools on a regular basis to talk to the younger generations about various topics ranging from human behaviour to sustainable technology. Presentation: TZM Education: Launchpad Sustainability Regarding a strategic and effective approach to activism. What works, what doesn’t and what even counts as a metric when trying to measure such a thing. I will be elucidating why much of what we currently do as a movement could potentially be nowhere near as effective as what could be achieved by going into Schools and talking to kids in a joint and strategic effort. Lee Camp, United States*
Lee Camp is the head writer and host of the weekly comedy news show ‘Redacted Tonight with Lee Camp’ on RT America. He’s a former contributor to The Onion, former staff humor writer for the Huffington Post, and his web series “Moment of Clarity” has been viewed by millions. He’s toured the country and the world with his fierce brand of political stand-up comedy, and George Carlin’s daughter Kelly said he’s one of the few comics keeping her father’s torch lit. His TV show and podcast can be found at LeeCamp.net, as can his comedy albums and books.
In this edition of All Subjects Everything, Jay Z's new streaming music service Tidal will be discussed, as well as a preview of the NCAA men's basketball Final Four and there will be no April Fool's Day jokes coming...but Chris will probably look back to the last time he tried to play someone on April Fool's Day (hint: it didn't end very well).
Throughout the years unity within the black community continues to be a bone of contention. Once desegregation took place, and integration was in full effect, unity among the black community has continued to erode. Whether it’s in inner cities consisting of violence and the like, or black folks leaving for suburban living. The lack of togetherness and community has caused great harm for African Americans. Let’s discuss how to bring the U-N-I-T-Y back! Solution based radio!!

Kenni is a 31-year old author, sexual assault awareness advocate, and entrepreneur. Her literary works include Ask No Questions (murder mystery), A Girl's Perspective (poetry), Merrilittle: Murder in a Small Town (young adult murder mystery, 1st in a series), Striving for Happily Ever After (marriage self-help), The Girls (Urban Fiction), My Dad is an Army Man (children’s book) and the Karma series (Contemporary Women’s Fiction). Passionate about her chosen field, Kenni created her own company in 2012, Kenni Enterprises LLC, which specializes in teaching creative writing classes for youth and adults throughout the metro Atlanta area. The company also facilitates workshops and seminars, provides one on one tutorial sessions to help middle school children strengthen their writing skills in preparation for scholastic, writing based tests in addition to offering copy editing services for various online magazines, ghostwriting services, and author consultations. Kenni and her company are dedicated to active community involvement. Annually, Kenni hosts a youth book drive to promote summer reading amongst school aged children. Over time, this initiative has worked to provide several county recreation centers, daycares, children’s hospitals, and children shelters with reading and educational materials for their youth. Additionally, Kenni organizes and hosts an annual benefit event during National Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April entitled Let Your Voice Be Heard. As a sexual assault survivor, Kenni feels it is important to get the word out about this growing epidemic in order to encourage men and women to raise their voices against this common and life-impacting crime.
Every year, hundreds of swimmers unexpectedly get caught in riptides and must fight strong currents to survive. On this week's A Kind Voice on Sports, Bill Piedra discusses Ryptide, a Kickstarter project that began when Bill was introduced to a high school robotics class by their teacher. Their collaboration resulted in the birth of Ryptide, an innovative combination of a drone and a life preserver delivery system. Tune in to find out about this potential life-saving device, the people behind its creation, and more about Bill. The Call In lines will be open during the live show on Wednesday at 7 pm EST at (347) 850-8907.

CLASSIC CHROME - CANNONBALL HANDBUILT SHOW
Special Guests: Lonnie Isam Jr, Event Promoter: Motorcycle Cannonbal Jason Sims, Event Staff: Motorcycle Cannonball Alan Stulberg, Revival Cycles
In the early 1900's one man was the name in transcontinental record-setting motorcycle and automobile runs. This man crossed the wild American landscape numerous times in feats of stamina, skill, and devotion unlike any other. Imagine riding coast-to-coast aboard a 1915 Indian, or 1923 Ner-A-Car in just mere days, when there were no real paved roads. More than 100 transcontinental speed records for both autos and cars are attributed to Erwin "Cannonball" Baker.
Since 2010, a world-class racing event has taken the motorcycle world by storm. This event is the ultimate challenge of man and machine, and is a tribute to "Cannonball" Baker's record-setting cross-country trips. The Motorcycle Cannonball is the brainchild of Lonnie Isam, Jr, and has been undertaken by a field of enthusiasts three separate times now. In 2010, motorcycles manufactured prior to 1916 crossed America from Kitty Hawk, NC to Santa Monica, CA. 2012 saw the second running of the event from Newburgh, NY to San Francisco, CA for machines built prior to 1930. Last September, pioneering enthusiasts from all over the world conquered America once again, traveling from Daytona Beach, FL to Tacoma, WA aboard machines built prior to 1937.
