Yolanda Owens has been making her own natural skin care products for 8 years. In 2003, Owens founded iwi fresh at the prompting of family and friends who believed her products were much better than the skin care lines they found in stores.
“I knew iwi fresh was special when I considered that other products on the market were full of toxic chemicals that damaged the skin over a period of time. I’d been creating natural products for myself and others for a few years and felt I had something unique to offer. The name iwi-short for “itiz wat itiz”-came to me and I felt it was a strong, simple, and descriptive name for my products because they contain only the freshest ingredients and no chemicals”, says Owens.
