Since February 2009, with the rise of the Tea Party, we seem to have entered this bizarre realm of politics where extremism, fundamentalism and faux Constitutionalism has taken hold of the GOP.
The Tea-Party's public face of Sarah Palin, Michele Bachman, Rick Santorum and of course, the douchiest, the grinchiest, the one and only Newt have wrapped themselves in the American flag screaming "treason" and 'the anti-Christ" everytime Obama is mentioned.
