Unholy Alliance: The Politicization of the Religious Right

The "new and improved" GOP consists of a politicization of Christianity to further their agenda.  How Christianlike are the members of the religious rights?  Apparently the doctrine of the religious right has little to do with social justice, equality and tolerance and has more to do with greed, oppression and intolerance.  What happened to the separation between state and church?  The relgious right supports the freedom of religious expression, as long as the religion being expressed is theirs.
