While still realing from the trifecta of scandals, AP phone records, IRS targeting of non profit political groups, and Benghazi, Glenn Greenwald undercovered and reported another scandal to add to the roster, bigger than the other three combined. Telecommunications giant, Verizon, was compelled to turn over the records of all Verizon subscribers to the NSA daily under a FISA court order commencing on April 19th through July 19th, 2013.  After we recovered from the shock of the complete subversion of constutional rights and civil liberties a few truths became evident.

We soon came to realize that most likely Verizon isn't the only other telecommunications corporation ordered to produce these records.  Diane Feinstein commented ""this is the exact three-month renewal of what has been in place for the past seven years" and explained "It's called protecting America". How far will the government go while waging the self perpetuating war on terror?
