Under the Obama administration, six whistleblowers have been indicted under the Espionage Act of 1917, more than all adminstrations combined.  It has become apparent that the Obama administration's purpose is to discourage any reporting of government wrongdoing.  While Karl Rove and Dick Cheney remain unscathed in the Valerie Plame case, where a CIA operative's identity was disclosed in order to punish her husband Joe Wilson's op-ed exposing the lies of the Bush administration, it has become very clear that they have no qualms prosecuting those who expose the government's folly.
