They ran a Democrat for POTUS, re-elected an incompetent Speaker & affirmed no change in a failed status quo by reelecting Priebus as Chair; the USS GOP is sunk and they didn’t even rearrange the deck chairs.  What are authentic conservatives to do?

Join Tex and Rex for irreverent, relevant and radioactive conservatism with a bite at 10:00pm EST on Monday night.  When has the GOP actually been conservative?  Has the GOP been more victorious when it is actually conservative or when it is run by RINOs?

For now, the GOP is the alternate to the statist Democrats on the national stage, even though it appears to be nothing more than controlled opposition in the scheme of duopoly.  Should conservatives abandon the GOP on the national stage?  Or, should conservatives support true Constitutional conservatives in and out of the GOP at the local and state level, while advocating for the GOP to return to conservatism on the national stage?

“The conservative "thinks of political policies as intended to preserve order, justice, and freedom. The ideologue, on the contrary, thinks of politics as a revolutionary instrument for transforming society and even transforming human nature. In his march toward Utopia, the ideologue is merciless.” ? Russell Kirk

"One of the great debates...will be individual versus group rights. It is a debate that must end decisively in favor of the individual. Our Declaration of Independence tells us we are “endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights.” If our rights are unalienable, they clearly belong to us as individuals. They cannot be taken away by government because our Creator outranks the government. Similarly, neither can they be taken away by any group." – Newt Gingrich

To me, to be a conservative means to conserve the good parts of America and to conserve our Constitution. – Ron Paul
