The Winter Olympics in Sochi kicked off in grand fashion, but one of the biggest stories was the dysfunctional preparations for the Games. Huge spending, unfinished hotel rooms, dirty water, stray dogs and reports of widespread graft were just some of the issues reported by visitors. What does this say about the merits of command-and-control governments like those of Vladimir Putin? What's even more disturbing is that Barack Obama to emulate that model. We will discuss.
