In my experience as a certified short sale professional, who has completed hundreds of short sales over the years, I have stood witness to the damage and harm an ill informed agent can do to their client. Many agents just don’t have anything better than an elementary understanding of short sales and this lack of knowledge and experience opens consumers to a wide array of problems. Problems like bank delays, increased time on market, loss of buyers, foreclosure and in the most severe cases, fraud allegations, investigations, criminal charges and prosecution. Unfortunately, by the time the client seeks me out to help them, many times, it’s too late and the damage caused can’t be undone. Today’s show is all about shedding a light onto shoddy short sales  and how you can protect yourself from becoming a victim or even worse, unintentionally participating in fraud.
