Stereotypes about lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people are conventional, formulaic generalizations, opinions, or images about persons based on their sexual orientation or gender identity. Stereotypes and homophobia are a learned outlook, i.e. from parents, teachers, peers, or the mass media, or a lack of firsthand familiarity, may tend to lead to more reliance on learned stereotypes.We will discuss these stereotypes and myths. Please join us to share your thoughts.
