Today on HELP! Relationships 102, we touch what could be considered a very sensitive topic in the African American community! When an extremely dejected and traumatized young girl grows up to have children of her own, how can the children she now has in the present be affected by the afflictions she suffered in her past? What effect can wounds heaped upon her by her wounded mother— have on, not just her, but her children and even her children's children...whom she may in fact, love dearly?
