  Forsaking Your Way for God's Way
  

  Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for the opportunity of allowing me to release what you have placed in my spirit to give to those that will not just hear, but receive what it is that you have to say in this final hour as your true children are preparing for your coming. We thank you for allowing us the opportunity to share in taking your gospel to wherever you send us and fulfill your commission. In Jesus most precious, wonderful, and flawless name. Amen!
  
  The rewards and benefits of living for Christ can be gleaned when we first learn to live our ministry. We first must make the sacrifice to prove what is that good acceptable and perfect will of God. (See Romans 12:1-2) After we prove or test it, now it's time to walk in it. Many are anticipating the benefits of preaching and teaching, and thus forth, but what about the sacrifice? There is a price to pay in order to follow Jesus. Everyday will not be a day of ease and breeze. In order to follow Christ, we must be willing TO DENY OURSELF...that means forsaking our way to TAKE UPON HIS WAY. Are you truly willing to let THAT WHICH YOU ARE HOLDING ON SO TIGHTLY TO; GO for the sake of following Christ's way? 
  
   If you are called to a marriage/relationship ministry are you WILLING TO LET GO OF YOUR PRECEPTS, CHOICE, and DESIRES, to instead take upon that which Christ has prepared for you? If you are called to pastor a church are you willing to ACCEPT BEING WHERE GOD HAS PLACED you even if it means a SMALL CONGREGATION OF 10 and some may not be WHERE THEY NEED to be spiritually, but it takes a SHEPHERD'S heart given by God in order for a vessel to ACCEPT what God gives. To accept means not to OPEN UP YOUR MOUTH and curse it or cast it aside as though it is USELESS because it's not WHAT YOU WANTED. It didn't come in the PACKAGE that you expected, but nevertheless, God gave it to you and told you to OBEY HIM and watch THE MANIFESTATION OF MIRACLES COME FROM IT. Oh, who is willing to come down from what WE ALWAYS BELIEVED MINISTRY TO BE to instead get our HANDS DIRTY FOR THE PRICE OF OBTAINING ETERNAL LIFE? Who is willing to SAY, FATHER, NEVERTHELESS [ replace nevertheless with ALTHOUGH the flesh doesn't feel like doing  whatever God has told you to do that the flesh doesn't want to do], NOT AS I WILL, BUT LET THINE WILL BE DONE.
  
  When we start PUTTING THIS INTO PERSPECTIVE, we will see just how many will be preaching and traveling from location to location to fulfill ministry engagements. Many want the benefits of just looking or sounding good in ministry, but ARE NOT WILLING TO live and pay the price TO WALK IN MINISTRY BEING THAT LIGHT without opening up their mouths to proclaim a word. Some of your greatest ministry may be in your own backyard. Some of your greatest ministry IS RIGHT IN YOUR OWN HOUSEHOLD. Oh, yes, talking about BEING SEEN for who you really are. It's easy to preach to that sister in another country or that brother from another state, but WHAT ABOUT PREACHING AND LIVING IN HOLINESS AMONG YOUR OWN, who may very WELL PUSH YOUR BUTTONS to see if you are AS SAVED AS YOU profess to be? Oh, yes, TALKING ABOUT DENYING YOURSELF. You may be called to a marriage that you absolutely WOULD HAVE NEVER CHOSEN FOR YOURSELF, but because God KNEW THE NEED AND THE PURPOSE, he used it TO BE A CHARACTER AND REALITY EYE OPENER FOR YOU TO CONFORM TO THE IMAGE OF JESUS CHRIST, because otherwise, you would have been like many today, WILLING to run to preach, but are not willing to be OBEDIENT. We would be like those that scream love FROM A HEART FULL OF HATE. God knows exactly what each one of us need before we even ask. He knows WHAT THE GENTILES SEEK and have need of, but the bible tells us to seek first the kingdom of heaven and its RIGHTEOUSNESS and all these things will be added unto us.
  
  Don't let seeking things; both spiritual and physical take precedence over you just SEEKING HIM, HENCEFORTH SEEKING RIGHTEOUSNESS. I'm one to tell you, it's a PRICE to be in ministy. It's a PRICE to bear the weight of your cross, but nevertheless, it's required of every individual that desires to follow Jesus. It's not just for the ministers of the gospel, but it's for everyone that SEEK. Are you truly seeking to deny yourself and follow him. Are you really willing to forsake ALL (IF NEED BE) FOR THE SAKE OF following Christ? Are you willing to put up WITH what comes with the TERRITORY in order to follow CHRIST?
