Dan Olivo is an actor and singer. As an actor, Dan began his career performing in various plays with his parents, Rocco and Maria Olivo who, in 1972, founded The Italian Theater of Arts in Los Angeles. Since then, Dan has worked in film, television,theater and radio. 
     Dan studied acting under the late Milton Katsales at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and credits Milton and all the teachers especially Richard Lawson, Allen Barton, Gary Imhoff and the late Al Mancini for his growth as a performer. 
He recently appeared as "Jimmy" in the hit web series Vampire Mob, and as Joe Gusto in the comedy short "The Deposition of Lou Bagetta", FOX's "Malcolm in the Middle" and General Hospital. Dan's theater credits include Harry the Horse in Frank Loesser's "Guys & Dolls", Crooner Johnny Cantone in "1940's Radio Hour" and Paletta in "Idoit's Delight."
     Dan and his jazz band perform at various events and venues all over southern California. He has appeared on local radio stations including the fabulous 570 KLAC and The Lounge on 690 AM with radio personalities Brad "Martini" Chambers and Gary Owens. Dan will soon join Brad "Martini" Chamber's Martini In The Morning on Internet radio.(www.martiniinthemorning.com), Dan recently performed at the popular Eagle Rock Music Festival, as well as The Mistletoe and Martini Christmas Concert at The Universal Amphitheater sponsored by the radio station Frank Sinatra Jr., Natalie Cole, Steve Tyrell, Bobby Caldwell and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy also performed. Dan is currently in the recording studio making his first album.
