Black women already have a hard time overcoming the various stereotypes that currently exist.  At one point it appeared that the media was "trying" to bridge the gap (in their own way) considering that there were no shows (reality show or not) that had any positive Black women role models.  Now, we have gone from no role models to several negative images. What is going on!

Here are some of the shows: Basketball Wives, Tiny & Toya, Monica: Still Standing, LisaRaye: The Real McCoy, What Chili Wants and The Braxtons.

What are these shows doing for the young girls that watch? Is this just entertainment or are these shows giving our girls a bad impression?
