Lets Talk CFL Episode #40 Previewing Week 18. Thats right Week 18, only 3 weeks left of the regular season. The Panel - Kelly Bale, Charles Cliff, Mike Townsend, and Christopher Jones will Preview the upcoming games of Week 18 of the 2015 CFL Season. We will also be declaring our predictions complete with confidence levels. What is on the line this week... Edmonton & Calgary have equal records heading down the stretch. Edmonton owns the season series, so Calgary must finish higher than the Eskimos to finish First in the Division. Mean while in the East there is a larger traffic jam with Hamilton currently with 10 victories and both Toronto & Ottawa sitting with 9 each. But here is where it gets tricky; The Argos own the Season series over the RedBlacks but Hamilton owns it over the Argos. Both done in 3 game sweeps. BUT Hamilton has yet to play Ottawa this year and that will have to wait until the last 2 weeks of the season. Funny thing is each of these 3 play one of the 3 that are fighting for the final playoff position, 3rd place in the West. BC with 3 games remaining has lost the season series to Winnipeg who currently only have 2 games left. Also in this hunt is Montreal and they are fight for a cross over position. So if the season ended to day Winnipeg would be in the playoffs. Montreal must have a full game lead over the two Western teams for the Crossover to be enacted. BC must also have one victory more than the Bombers to make the playoffs due to the Season series is in the Bombers favour. If this was not enough there is one addition item to be watching. Edmonton has the final bye in week 20 and if they end up First in the West then they literally have 3 weeks before a playoff game. Is that too much time to sit, without play at real game speed? Is it better for the Eskimos to finish in second place? All this an more will be answered on the next Lets Talk CFL Podcast. Please join us live or on repeat with iTunes, Tunedin or Stitcher.
