    What happened to "Merry Christmas"?

    Merry Christmas

When did this phrase become an insensitive expression? I hear from the post modern culture that I should respect other peoples' views but this is not a reciprocal effort on their parts.

It seems real simple to me. If you don't believe that God loves you and sent His Son to give you access back to Him, then don't celebrate the holiday. Just go to work, pursue selfish ambitions like the rest of the year and spend all your time with others who hypocritically preach tolerance but don't practice it. Then we who do celebrate Christ's birth, as celebrated for thousands of years, can share our joy with those who are present in the culture and not huddled away in angry think tanks.

    Merry Christmas
