Call in to speak with the host
There comes a times when a person must remove himself or herself from the presence of what my great-grandmother called, "The Boob Tube". It is tiresome to hear Whites comment on what they believe non-White people are like when they have not taken the time to personally communicate with non-Whites. From the belief that all Blacks live in the projects, are on welfare, are uneducated to all Latinos being illegals to East Asians acing the ACT.
When will folk step outside their comfort zones, strike up a conversation with those who do not look like them and learn about various cultures. It would surprise those "sheltered-minded" people how much we have in common if only you talked to us and not rely on television, music videos, and the evening news. By the way, just because you may work with a non-white person does not mean you know EVERY non-white person.
It's good to talk.
