He was the exclusive writer for Smokey Robinson between 1976 -80 writing such notable songs as I'm Loving You Softly and If We're Gonna Act Like Lovers. He has now jumped out to a solo career spitting out the smooth sound of soulful jazz with cuts like What About Love, the title cut from his new CD and everyone's favorite that you've heard on this show, Cookie Sweet.
