It is all too often that we don't explore the health issues within the lesbian community. There is a scary perception that it is "more safe" to share intimacy with women. The short-story told on the show is just one of many illuminating the lack of disclosure present within our community. I listened to the show after work tonight and I must say... I wish I could've participated. The show was very informative and helpful. I received a lot of insight on a lot of the various topics discussed. I can relate to the juveniles and the suicide rate being I am a Mental Health Certified Officer at a level IV women's prison and the juveniles there attempt suicide nearly everyday. They are either afraid of contracting HIV/AIDS, being raped by other inmates, etc. A lot of the juveniles end of
