Spiritual Happy Hour: Special Parenting Series welcomes Lisa DiSciullo, CPCC, Certified Parent Trainer, Certified Life Coach and Owner of Parenting Matters on Thursday, June 22nd at 8pm Eastern Time on Blog Talk Radio.

School's out for Summer.  Let's face it summertime can be both an exciting and challenging time for families.  Longer, unstructured days can give children a chance to be creative in their own way, but if your house is like mine, you may hear the following phrases in the coming weeks:

"I'm Bored" "I hate Camp", "I'm not going to practice my instrument', "I don't want to go to the grocery store", "My sibling hit me, took my toy, won't share, is not cleaning his/her room/the playroom"

Or

"Please put your laundry, toys, shoes, soccer ball, baseball glove etc. etc. away", "Please put your dishes in the dishwasher", "Have you done your reading homework", "No, I can't take you to the pool, mall, downtown, for ice cream right now"

Lisa DiSciullo, Certified Parent Trainer and Certified Life Coach and owner of Parenting Matters, is joining us to help us make sense of our parenting choices. As owner of Parenting Matters NJ she helps parents have less stress and more joy in parenting their children through the rigors of everyday life.  Tune into the show with us as we "go back to the basics" and learn what is behind our children's behavior, how their behavior is influenced by our parenting style, and what we can do about it.
