  A huge horrific thank you to all the ladies who joined ParaWomenRadio tonight!  We rocked the horror in film and books!  We even learned how to make bullet holes.  No, really, we learned how to make bullet holes in the forehead!

  Kristy will be out on medical for the month of May. Therefore we will be having special guest Co/Hosts joining Amy. This week we have special guest CO/Host Beverly The Gothic Gourmet! The Gothic Gourmet was founded on 28 January, 1997 whilst slavishly cooking a midnight meal for friends. It was a moment of crystallization for me when food met writing, when quality of life emerged from sorrow and I chose to live anew.
  
  Literary Food Writer with a wide range of content: entertaining ideas, food history and research, insights into daily living and the supernatural, as well as a cookbook in the works.

  Bio:
  Wednesday Lee Friday has been writing stories since she first learned to form letters into words, and maybe a little before. A Stabbing for Sadie is her first published novel. When she is not writing, Wednesday enjoys loom knitting, jewelry making, cooking, and playing the dulcimer. She is a graduate of Royal Oak Kimball High School, and majored in theatre and broadcasting at Olivet College. Horror, and especially psychological thrillers remain at the forefront of her ambitions. Currently, she lives in Ann Arbor, MI with her husband. Her follow up novel, The Cat's Apprentice will be released later this year. Several of her short stories will appear in the upcoming Stone Garden Anthology, Gems From the Garden.

  Bio:
  Heidi Martinuzzi is a Horror, Cult, and Independent freelance journalist who has written for major horror publications and online sites. She also acts in B-movies
  
  She has written for Film Threat, Microcinemascene, CFQ, Femme Fatales, Red Scream, Haunted Times, Sirens of Cinema, Hacker's Source, Pennyblood, Microcinemascene, Zink, Pulp Movies, Monsters at Play, CinemaEye, BloodyDisgusting.com , Hustler, Fangoria, and CultCuts magazines. She has freelanced for many genre and independent film, and entertainment websites and magazines.
  
  She is the co-creator and managing editor of Pretty/Scary, the web community devoted to women in horror, and she is currently writing a book on female horror film directors. She is co-founder of the Pretty/Scary Film Festival for Excellence in Female Horror Filmmaking, and the Pretty/Scary Organization For Women in Horror (ParaWomenRadio/The League have their web forum with Pretty-Scary!)
  
  She produced the horror films Evil Ever After and Wretched, as well as the romantic comedy Karaoke Kid. She's acted in a ton of horror and B-movies.
  
  She is a partner at Pretty Disgusting Productions, LLC., a Los Angeles based film company specializing in the horror genre, and has horror projects in development for TV and Film.
  
  She has appeared on televison on E! and G4 as a horror and film specialist, and her reviews are highly sought after by members of the independent film community. She is on the nomination commitee for the Spike TV SCREAM AWARDS.
  
  She frequently is a guest at independent film festivals, horror conventions, and Los Angeles horror events. Find out where she will be next...
