PAV – Personal Advisory Board
Who do you have on “Your” board?
I really like the PAV thought process. It is so much more dramatic and inclusive that the concept of Masterminds.
My very own Personal Advisory Board. Can you imagine?
Who would be on it?
What would the time commitment be for those I invite?
Where can I find mine?
When would we meet?
Why is a PAV a necessity?
After taking the time to imagine my very own PAV, it struck me how much further I would be in my personal and business life if I had had one.
Friends are great, but what you really need are people that will be honest, accountable, and encourage you as well as reel you back in when you are way off base. In a perfect world it would contain:
Lawyer, Accountant, Financial Advisor, Coach / Mentor, and Dreamer.
As needed, yes, but meeting no more than once a month and for no longer that 1 hr. Do as much interaction before the meeting as possible. Bring to the meeting only true concerns and opportunities.
Look into my network! Discern carefully and be ready to be on someone else’s PAB.
Once a month. As needed.
We can do nothing alone in this world. You will go faster and with fewer problems because small opportunities would be taken care of as they arise instead or growing into big issues. You will be adding value to those around you and them to you.
“Life is short – Go Fast!”—Hans Florine
