Jonathan Goldman is considered to be one of the founders of modern sound healing, pioneering the field for more than 25 years. An award winning musician and writer, he is author of over four books and 20 CDs. His work combines the spiritual and scientific aspects of sound as a healing and transformational modality. A writer, musician and teacher, Jonathan’s books include: Healing Sounds, Shifting Frequencies, Tantra Of Sound (co-authored with his wife Andi Goldman) 2006 Visionary Award Winner for “Best Alternative Health Book", and his latest best-selling book, The 7 Secrets of Sound Healing. His cutting edge, award winning recordings include: Chakra Chants winner of the Visionary Awards for “Best Healing-Meditation Album” and “Album of the Year”, The Lost Chord, The Divine Name (with Gregg Braden), Frequencies, and Reiki Chants. His Ultimate Om CD was named one of the Top 20 New Age CDs. His CD collaboration with Tibetan Chant Master Lama Tashi, Tibetan Master Chants, was nominated for a 2006 Grammy Award for “Best Traditional World Music.” Jonathan has worked with masters of sound from both the scientific and spiritual traditions, and has been empowered by the Dalai Lama’s Chant Master of the Drepung Loseling Monastery to teach Tibetan Overtone Chanting. He is the founder and Director of the Sound Healers Association, dedicated to education and awareness of sound and music for healing, and the President and CEO of Spirit Music, Inc. producing music for meditation, relaxation and self-transformation. An internationally acknowledged Master Teacher, Jonathan facilitates Healing Sounds Seminars at universities, hospitals, holistic health centers, and expos throughout the United States and Europe. He is a lecturing member of the International Society for Music and Medicine. He has appeared on national television and radio, including “Coast to Coast AM,” and has been featured in national periodicals including USA Today and The New York Times.
