  When we are not posting blogs or doing our own show and dealing with the dramas of life. We are always doing our best behind the scenes! Here is an Update post to help fill you all in on what has been happening so far and coming up!
  
  The group-
  
  Members coming and going. The growing pains of trying to be a functional group. But an experience within itself!
  
  Some of us have been working on a project called "The Burlington Experience" since May 09. We have visited the area on May 23 & June 20 and doing research inbetween.  We plan on heading back there in August for more interviews as well as filming the tour and another independent venture into "The Haunted Woods". Pictures and some audio (2 interviews with Authors Peter Moon and Frank Joseph. More coming soon) is posted on our yahoo groups and myspace accounts as well as an episode on our blogtalk show about our first visit there. Written blog coming soon! This is our first case/project to apply some real research and investigation as a group in whole. As well as, our first documentary as an amature production company and research group.   An excerpt from the blog on "The Burlington Experience"-
  
  -I found myself interested in Burlington,Wisconsin about a year or so ago. I caught news of it strolling the net one day searching for vortexes in the Northern Illinois area. A few people mentioned possible vortexes in my area and I wanted to see if the net had anything. Nothing came up, but I ended up coming across a blog about a vortex in Wisconsin, and it wasn't too far away from me here in Antioch, IL. Then I came across a link for The Unexplained Internet Radio Show (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/tuw/2008/07/28/The-Unexplained-World) on blogtalkradio.com featuring a Mary Sutherland of Sci-Fi Cafe. A Paranormal Conference was being held in the fall of 2008 with a few other local paranormal enthusiast attending. I found out more about this when I was asked to come on The Mothership Radio Show and one of the hosts I knew mentioned that he will be attending. I never heard of this place until pretty much the summer of 2008! At the same time with all of this going on, a member from the  LCGH Yahoo Groups had posted photos about their experience at this place known as "The Haunted Woods", this is part of the experience that is witnessed while visiting Burlington, Wis. through The Sci-Fi Cafe. Something I will eventually get to do!
  
  Before I do anything . Research has to be done before initiating an actual investigation into the claims. So during the time (late 2008-early 2009) while I was trying to form a stable L.C.G.H. and find my place in our amature production company A.R.R.S. (Amalgamated Revolution Resolution Studios), we were already in the works on such projects as a possible animated adaptation of our member Josh Hehe's lifes work, The Chronicles of Ontology (which you can view on our Yahoo Groups), as well as my comic book idea, internet show and other projects I was involved in with other members. Which both groups are still going through growing pains, most of you who have been in this for a while, know the ins and outs of this game of creating organizations and the drama life. So, I was trying to note as much as I could here and there with the internet shows, articles and the sources main base of operations, www.burlingtonnews.net! When you look at all this as well as the info that the member of our Yahoo Groups gave. This place had it all! From Indian Burial Grounds to Al Capone's underground bowling alley! Let us not forget Ghosts, Vortexes,Occultic background, UFOs, Fairies and Tunnels beneath the city! This is an investigators dream! I was very excited to find such a place close by. So many theories were rushing through my head has to what was causing such experiences.
  
  Looking at the bigger picture for both groups. We are growing at the time and we were finally getting to the point that we could start using the minimum resources that were available as well as great new members that came to both groups. For L.C.G.H., it was getting new members that helped in research and share some of the work that I have created from building the groups since 2002. Finally, I can put into practice what I have been researching for all these years! A somewhat functional group. This particular project seemed to be great for getting our toes wet, for some of us it is not our first time, but it was fertile ground to actually do things in somewhat a structured manner. Whatever that maybe!?   Really its just applying what works! That's what we had to realize! And that goes along way! What Works!! We had to apply what works! What is tangible! What it is realistic! Applying those  methods takes a lot of the nonsense out of what we could be dealing with in this field of research. Over all, it takes research and experiences to get to that point.
  
  And with what works, I had to put some of these projects on hold, which is a sacrifice in it's own. This case that was being built needed time. And to be honest, in all case management, time is necessary in order to actually make a case. And this was something that I was trying to implement with all things that we are going to pursue. Not to rush it just because supposed paranormal phenomenon may be occuring. Coming back to putting things into practice and getting new members. I wanted to apply this with everyone in the group. No matter what the individual members focus may be on. We are all going to have the basic knowledge of building a case and researching. In order to be successful, we all have to be somewhat on the same page, which is obiviously, much harder than I had imagined. A work in progress still. But, the more we practice this, which the Burlington project being the first project to try this out on, the better we will be as an actual research group. Everyone in L.C.G.H. is a researcher and investigator. I even push members to create their own theories as to what might be happening in this field of the unknown!-
  
  
  Also, in June some of us got to visit an old haunt located near Barrington, IL called "The Haunted Silo" on Shoe Factory Rd. I have been here before and its just down the street from another said haunt called "The Stone House". Both spots are local known haunts and not many experiences have actually come from them. Nor have I experienced anything at these sites myself. A personal experience was told to me by a cop one night though. He actually stopped us and starting asking questions as to what we were doing. After explaining to him our deal. He decided to tell us that he had experienced something weird one night at the old barn property where the silo is located and for the stone house, nothing has really ever happened . So, take it as you read it! I have been to another "haunted silo" not too far from that area near Bartlett,IL. I can say for sure some occult activity has been practiced there. Some of these past experiences at these sites can be found on our yahoo groups site. You can type in the places name in the search box located in the message section.   Last night, July 26, some of us went on a late night "grave stomp" into a place known as St. Pats located near Wadsworth, IL. This is another local haunt and a favorite of mine and most who live in Lake County. I can confirm claims of occult activity as well as dead bodies being found behind the cemetery. They were told to me by first hand from friends and locals to actual police officers. I haven't been there in about 2yrs of so. And things have changed. By natural means or man made, trees have fallen on the paths that lead to the are of a foundation of a house and a pool that is now termed "Satan's Pool"! You can find past experiences the same as mentioned in the last paragraph. No pictures were taken and full blog coming soon!

  September 19, I will be speaking at a paranormal conference located in Shelbyville, IL. It will be an all day and pretty cool group of people have put it all together. It will be my first appearance giving a lecture and I can't wait to see how its going to turn out.

  I came on about 2hrs in or so. My phone had died so I had to cut it short. But, after that had happened a caller had come on talking about the movie "Toxic Skies" which is banned in the U.S. It is about the ideas of "chemtrails" effecting society. I personally believe in chemtrails and have, like others, documented said phenomenon!

  I recently joined the Global Paranormal Network and on blogtalk, they had a show which the topic was on education. Which I am currently doing my best to be part of their board of research. What I stressed the most is that major research is needed before we decide what is what in the paranormal field.

  Here at L.C.G.H. we work more on the grass roots level and really use the site as more of a resource database. At least thats what I try to push. This is just a platform we have been using since 2002 and soon there will be an official site. But, its been up and running for a while. So, check it out when you get a chance, I am personally trying to update it on a weekly bases. It has been organized for your viewing pleasure! And you can add to the collective yourself. There are pics, audio (located in the files section) and tons of links for your research itch! It always growing with information. All I ask is to organize your contribution as shown on the groups site, so its easier for others to navigate.

Let us know what you can do! As you can see, research is the main focus for our group, thats something to note about us. We ain't perfect. But, we need a base.
