Taking A Stand....w/ Teresa Rybolt

In the Bible there is a scripture Luke 7:36-50 where it is told that Jesus anoints a sinful woman. And in this story she is looked down on because she is a sinner. Yet she takes a leap of faith and dares to reach out to Jesus....I stop there because I want to look at this sinful woman's life that she possibly had led. And I tell my story because I see myself in that sinful woman and in the end her courage and strength, Jesus states that because of her faith her sins are forgiven and to go in peace. I see myself in this woman because I was a sinful woman living under the veil of the devils lies and darkness. But I chose one day to stand against those who accused me, who put me down, who made me believe I was a nothing and in that standing I met God. And with arms wide open he took me as I am. I was and am beautiful and broken. I was lost but was found. I was sinking deep in sin but the master of the sea heard me and saved me. And he said to me, "You are forgiven, go in peace" to me. Join us on this awesome show as we welcome a woman that took a stand...she stood against family...friends...and everyone else that told here she was wrong for reporting her abuse and abuser but she stood in spite of and found solace in the only one that could offer comfort after such a horrific and traumatic ordeal and that was God!
